Spook is starting to play more with air systems, looks promising.
I have been told by locals that his father used to run a good business, but it has been in decline since he retired and his son took it over. I have gone here very many times over the past few years for parts and advice. The price may be slightly high at times but what do you expect when you own a german car.Shop Rating: Excellent Recommended Report Date: Anonymous writes: My mechanic called Mitchell four times for parts yesterday with no return call.I drove there this morning at and it was not open. Shop Rating: Avoid Report Date: Mark Cumnock writes: Things have changed since I worte a previous postive review. I was told they had what I needed, said they would call me back.I tried to tell them that I could not afford that and they went on to say I would still owe the labor cost of 0.00 if they removed the part. Also I asked about buying a used steel wheel (no tire or hubcap) and the owner Keith Mitchell was playing me to get the most money he could out of me by saying "well what would you pay for it" and if I was to low in price, he would say "oh, it's worth more than that and stating what someone else paid for an item last week, which was an ridiculous amount of 0.00 and in return asking then what I would pay for the part, but he would not tell me a fair price, I really wanted to get a used replacement part so after agreeing with him on an outrageous price for the item he had his helper go and take the wheel off a wrecked car, they brought the wheel up and took it to my car to put in the trunk, as the helper was passing me by I noticed the wheel was damaged and was not the wheel that we had just looked at, I mentioned it to Keith and he insisted it was ok, To me the wheel looked just as bad as the wheel that was already on my car!And for the price I agreed to pay for a good used wheel, I can't believe he was trying to rip me off again, I guess he thought that I wouldn't notice that he was selling me a bent wheel. Afterwards on my way home I stopped by the auto parts store in Tuscaloosa, and the manager knew of this guy and said that this guy is known to rip people off and has been sued multiple times. if you want to go to a shop where you cant understand your mechanic this is the one.
